We currently have over 700 stores throughout the UK and are opening more very year. That means that there is an Argos within 10miles of 95% of the UK population. We also have an increasing presence in the Republic of Ireland, a fact we're extremely proud of. With a sales turnover of over £4.1 billion, we must be doing something right at Argos and to be honest, we think our success is all down to our company wide commitment to putting our customers first and our exceptional customer service.

For one thing, we've three peak trading periods to keep on your toes. That's, one Christmas and two catalogue launches. Add to this the number of additional offers, sales and promotions we run through the year and you'll understand why we don't really 'do' slow days.

The management challenge of dealing with the busy periods is huge. To handle the extra business, at busier times, you may have to double your staff on the shop floor.
